Safety and quality initiatives

safety practices

A wide variety of solvents are used which are discharged by industries in Japan and these used solvents contain more potentially toxic impurities other than the solvents.

We use various analytical instruments, including the new ARC Particle Analyzer, to perform strict safety checks from the process of distillation and refining development to the shipment of recycled products. Furthermore, we are working on enhancing safety by modifying the specifications of our equipment, and providing comprehensive safety training to our on-site workers, among other measures.

Maintaining Quality Initiatives

We perform quality control of trace metal impurities in high-purity solvents, measuring in parts per trillion (ppt).

We perform metal analysis of high-purity solvents, measuring in parts per trillion (ppt) units, in the clean room at the plant in Wanouchi, Chiba.

In order to obtain stable results (values)

  • Careful attention is required to maintain a consistent environment. Particularly, it is essential to manage the air conditioner and particles in the clean room. In order to minimize external influence, each section is managed with air showers. The cleanroom is Class 100,000 environment, with no more than 10,000 particles larger than 0.5 microns per cubic foot of air (≒28.3 liters) and the analytical instruments are placed in clean booths to create a Class 100 environment.

  • Accurate measurement in parts per trillion (ppt) units is carried out by proficient analysts who have mastered precise measurement techniques. Regular checks are conducted to ensure the ongoing proficiency and accuracy of our measurement techniques.

Analytical equipment to deliver assured quality to customers
